"Cody’s Corner I’m a speech-language pathology assistant and I see my client at Cody’s Corner once a week. As a home-based therapist, I’ve visited several day treatment programs. I can honestly say none of them compare to Cody’s Corner. Cody’s Corner is a very bright and welcoming building. You’ll first notice how clean and tidy everything is. There are fun seasonal decorations throughout the building. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. I’ve seen them interact with the members with the utmost respect. They treat the members like adults, and not like children. I’ve been seeing my client at Cody’s Corner for over a year, and most of the staff have been there before I started. That alone says something about the culture of this company, since Day Treatment Programs tend to have high turnover rates. The staff is always engaging with the members. I can always hear laughter (from both staff and members) and everyone is always involved in some kind of activity. Too many times have I walked into a DTA and seen members sitting alone doing absolutely nothing for the full hour I’m there, every single week. I’ve had multiple conversations with the owner, Stephanie, telling her how impressed I am with her facility. She truly cares about her members and staff, and it shows in every aspect. I would not hesitate to send a loved one to Cody’s Corner. I consider it the gold standard when it comes to DTA’s. I recommend it to all of the therapists I work with for their own clients. This says a lot as I’m extremely cautious when advising families with the care of their loved ones. If you’re in the process of looking for a program, look no further.
